PC-LAN OS/2 Application Development
Developed and modified database applications for bakery route management systems. Developed and modified PAL software. Tested, documented, maintained applications.
Designed a Windows application to collect transactions with a certain code from a payroll extract file. Formatted these transactions into a proprietary ACH file to be sent to Vanguard Investment Corp. Application tracks transactions sent by batch, and calculates total of contributions made by each employee. Project included the building of data from COBOL records downloaded from mainframe payroll application.
Designed and coded an application to extract weekly customer invoice records from current mainframe AR system for direct electronic submission to customer. Project involved MVS/JCL.
Developed complete communication and handheld computer software for 10,000 bread/cake route sales people to use with hand held computers (PDA’s). Included automatic PROGRAM update downloads
