Benchtop Test Lab Result Search We designed a Lab-Test Result Tracking system for Nestle-Purina. The system was designed using Active Server Pages (ASP), Javascript and an IBM DB2 database. It was then implemented on a secure Nestle-Purina Intranet server. Nestle-Purina scientists submit requests to labs for tests on their products. Lab technicians perform the tests and save the results to an MS Excel spreadsheet. Analysts then access the secure site, specify lab test information to be searched and directly upload the results to the user's workstation. Scientists can immediately search and locate the results. This application greatly increased the efficiency of Nestle Purina’s test result retrieval process and file organization and has secured the integrity of their test lab data. |
